Preliminary Audition

Location: Athletics & Assembly Center Prentiss Street

Group Dance Instruction Date

Time & Date: 8:00am Saturday, Apirl 25, 2009
Location: T. B. Ellis Physical Ed. Building GYM) Dalton Street

Group Dance Date

Time & Date: 3:00pm, Sunday, April 26, 2009
Location: T. B. Ellis Physical Ed. Building GYM) Dalton Street (dress appropriate for rehearsal)

Items Needed:

• Three letters of references that can vouch for your character
• Tights (A J-Sette uniform will be provided)
• Personal Dance Music (45 seconds to one minute) on
• tape or CD Music must be free of profanity, sexual, and violence material)
• One blank cassette tape to record the group dance audition music (optional)

Please note: Prospective J-Settes must be prepared to remain in the Jackson Metropolitan area for the duration of the audition process. Also, Jackson State University will not make or provide eating and lodging arrangements for prospective J-Settes.
